This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, what we use it for, how long we retain it, and what your rights are as a user, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

2. Data we collect
We collect personal data in the following contexts:
Contact form
When you send a message via the contact form, we collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Telephone number (if you provide it voluntarily)
- Message content
Browsing and analytics
When you browse futurion.es, we automatically collect usage data in anonymised or pseudonymised form via Google Analytics 4 (see the Cookies section).
Programme enquiries
If you request information about a placement programme or send us documentation, we may additionally collect:
- Country of residence and nationality
- Academic qualification and speciality
- Documentation required for visa or recognition purposes (only when strictly necessary for the provision of the service)
3. Purpose of processing
We process your data for the following purposes:

We do not make automated decisions or build profiles using your data.
4. Data retention
- Contact form data: retained for the time necessary to handle your enquiry and, at most, 3 years from the last contact.
- Contractual data (programme participants): retained for 5 years from the end of the programme, or the period required by applicable tax and commercial legislation.
- Analytics data: in accordance with Google Analytics 4 conditions, signals data is retained for a maximum of 26 months.
- Once retention periods have elapsed, data will be deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
5. Recipients and international transfers
Your data is not disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. We may share data with:
- Hospitals and healthcare centres in Spain where placements are carried out, to the extent strictly necessary for programme management.
- Technology service providers acting as data processors under confidentiality agreements (e.g. email platforms, cloud storage).
- Google LLC (Google Analytics): usage data is transferred to Google servers in the United States under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
- Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel): if you have accepted marketing cookies, certain browsing data may be transferred to Meta in accordance with their terms of use.
- LinkedIn Corporation (LinkedIn Insight Tag): browsing data may be processed by LinkedIn for audience analysis and advertising purposes. Please refer to LinkedIn’s privacy policy.
6. Your rights
As a data subject, you may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access: obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing your data and a copy of it.
- Rectification: request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”): request the deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
- Restriction of processing: request that we suspend the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or request that we transfer it to another controller.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest or to processing for direct marketing purposes.
- Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

The Meta Pixel is only loaded if the user accepts marketing cookies. The LinkedIn Insight Tag may load on the first visit; if you prefer to disable it, you may do so via the cookie preferences panel or in your LinkedIn account privacy settings.

8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, or destruction. The website uses encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections on all its pages.
9. Data processing under the MedTrust Expert service
MedTrust Expert is a medical coordination service provided by Futurion. If you use this service, please note the following specific features of data processing:
Additional data we may collect:
- Medical documentation (reports, diagnoses, test results) that you voluntarily send us for the management of your enquiry
- Health information necessary to coordinate the second medical opinion
Legal basis: The processing of health data is carried out with your explicit consent (art. 9.2.a GDPR), which you grant by submitting your documentation and accepting this policy.
Your rights under the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679):
- Access: You may request a copy of all the data we process about you.
- Rectification: You may correct inaccurate data at any time.
- Erasure: You may request the deletion of your medical data when it is no longer necessary.
- Portability: You may receive your data in a structured format or request its transfer.
- Objection and restriction: You may object to the processing or request that we suspend it.
Disclosure of data to third parties: The medical data you send us is not shared with clinics or specialists without your prior and explicit consent. Only once you have approved the proposal of the selected specialist will we share your documentation with that professional under a confidentiality agreement.
Retention: Medical data is retained for the time necessary to handle your case and, at most, 3 years from the last contact, unless you request its deletion beforehand.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect regulatory changes or modifications to our services. The date of the last update will always be visible at the beginning of the document.
