Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the futurion.es website or contracting any of Futurion’s services. Use of the website or submission of an application for any programme constitutes acceptance of these conditions.

1. Provider information

Futurion is an international medical placement agency based in Valencia, Spain.

2. Subject matter and scope

These Terms and Conditions govern:

  1. Access to and use of the futurion.es website and its content.
  2. The contracting of Futurion’s programmes and services, including clinical observation programmes (medical internships), virtual laboratories, visa and accommodation management, and related services.

3. Conditions of access and use of the website

Access to the website is free of charge and does not require prior registration to browse content.

The user undertakes to:

  • Use the website in a lawful manner and in accordance with good faith, public order, and these terms.
  • Not reproduce, copy, distribute, or publicly communicate the website’s content without Futurion’s express authorisation.
  • Not use the website to send unsolicited communications (spam) or for unlawful activities.

4. Description of services

Futurion acts as an intermediary between students and healthcare professionals and the collaborating healthcare and educational institutions. The main services are:

  • Clinical observation programmes at hospitals and clinics in Spain: supervised training placements at healthcare centres, with variable duration depending on the programme chosen.
  • Virtual laboratories and VR simulation: access to interactive 3D and virtual reality medical training platforms.
  • Visa and accommodation management: advice and administrative support for obtaining student or visitor visas and finding temporary accommodation.
  • Other complementary services: consultancy for clinic set-up, supply of medical equipment, and an affiliate programme.

Futurion is not a healthcare centre or an accredited educational institution. Certificates or documents of participation issued are administrative in nature and do not confer official academic recognition, unless expressly agreed with the student’s institution of origin.

5. Contracting process

  1. The user submits an application via the contact form or by email.
  2. Futurion reviews the application and informs the user of the availability, conditions, and price of the programme.
  3. The contract is formalised by written acceptance of the proposal and payment of the agreed fee.
  4. Once payment has been confirmed, Futurion proceeds with the placement assignment and programme management.

Programme prices are communicated on an individual basis depending on the duration, speciality, and centre selected. Prices include the services agreed in each proposal and do not include travel, visa, or medical insurance costs, unless expressly stated.

6. Payment

Futurion accepts the following payment methods:

  • International bank transfer
  • Credit or debit card
  • PayPal

Cryptocurrency payments are not accepted.

Payments are processed securely. Futurion does not store credit card details.

7. Cancellation and refund policy

  • Cancellation by the user: if the user cancels the programme more than 30 days before the start date, Futurion will refund the amount paid less any management costs already incurred.
  • Cancellation with less than 30 days’ notice: Futurion may retain up to 50% of the amount paid as a cancellation fee, unless force majeure is duly evidenced.
  • Cancellation by Futurion: if Futurion is unable to guarantee the placement due to circumstances beyond its control, the full amount paid will be refunded.

8. User obligations and responsibilities

A user participating in a placement programme undertakes to:

  • Provide accurate information about their academic training and professional situation.
  • Comply with the internal rules of the host healthcare or educational centre.
  • Hold valid medical insurance and professional liability insurance throughout the entire placement.
  • Respect the confidentiality and data protection protocols of the collaborating centres.

Futurion accepts no liability for accidents, injuries, or damage occurring during placements that result from the user’s failure to comply with the centre’s rules.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the futurion.es website, including texts, images, logos, designs, and code, is the property of Futurion or its content providers and is protected by Spanish and international intellectual property legislation.

Any reproduction, distribution, or public communication without Futurion’s express written authorisation is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of liability

Futurion endeavours to keep the information on the website up to date and accurate, but does not guarantee the absence of errors or the uninterrupted availability of the site. Futurion shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Interruption or technical failure of the website.
  • Improper use of the website or services by the user.
  • The accuracy or reliability of third-party content linked from the site.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from their interpretation or application, the parties submit to the Courts of Valencia (Spain), unless applicable consumer protection legislation provides for another jurisdiction.

12. Amendments

Futurion reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page with the date of update. Continued use of the website following publication of the changes constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.
